Will I lose my work if I refresh the page?

Spritetool will warn you before leaving or refreshing the page if you have unsaved work. However, we strongly recommend regularly saving your work and exporting backups, as browser data can be cleared.

Troubleshooting

My saved project disappeared. Can I recover it?

Unfortunately, if your browser's local storage was cleared (by clearing browsing data, browser updates, or privacy tools), the data cannot be recovered. This is why we recommend exporting your projects as JSON files for safekeeping.

The canvas appears blurry. How do I fix it?

Make sure your browser zoom is set to 100%. Some browser extensions or display scaling settings can also cause this. Spritetool uses crisp pixel rendering, so it should appear sharp at any zoom level.

Which browsers are supported?

Spritetool works best on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser.
